EUCALYPTUS RADIATA, 15 ML Like most species of eucalyptus, Eucalyptus radiata is native to Australia. A very large flowering tree in the myrtle family, Eucalyptus radiata produces fragrant leaves and is also known informally as narrow-leaved peppermint. Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree that grows to the height of over 300 feet, making it one of the world’s tallest trees. There are over 700 varieties of eucalyptus, with over 500 that produce an essential oil. Many of them create similar actions to Tea Tree and Myrtle essential oils.
In 2011 a study at Hildelberg University found that Eucalyptus radiata has the second largest abundance of 1.8 cineol (eucalyptol) after Eucalyptus globulus.
